Located in regional Victoria, this 6 turbine Wind Farm (including Switchyard) was constructed for client and turbine supplier Vestas. The 8 month project involved construction of roads, hardstands, turbine foundations and civil works for the associated switchyard.
The remote and rocky location provided a challenging working environment required blasting to break down the medium to hard rock in most locations throughout the Wind Farm. Other major plant used included 45t Excavators with rock breakers, D9 Dozers, 875 Dozers, Graders and Water Carts.
All milestone dead lines were achieved and very positive feedback was received from the client.
