Badgingarra Wind Farm is located approximately 200km North of Perth, Western Australia. CATCON and consortium partner CPP were contracted to construct the BoP Civil & Structural Package, including, 37 WTG sites, road network, HV cabling, on-site batch plant as well as the Substation and Operations & Maintenance Building.
Works were completed within the 8 month scheduled time-frame despite challenges including; cultural and heritage considerations, native vegetation constraints as well as working with local farmers and their livestock.
Major equipment used during the project included; 30t excavators, pad foot rollers, smooth drum rollers, water carts, dump trucks, concrete pump and crane.
