The Willogoleche Wind Farm is located in the Mid-North region of South Australia, approximately 200km North of Adelaide. CATCON and EPC partners GE were contracted by Engie to design and construct the 32 WTG Wind Farm. Works included earthworks, road works, WTG concrete foundations, cabling & electrical works, O&M facility construction as well as transportation and erection of the WTGs.
For main erection activities a Crawler Crane was used to lift the WTG sections and components along with ancillary cranes which were used during the transportation and storage of sections.
