The Golden Grove Road Upgrade (Stage 1 & 2) project was a 2.4km road upgrade from One Tree Hill Road to Southern side of Golden Grove Rd/Yatala Rd/The Grove Way Intersection, located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
CATCON was the Principal Contractor on the project for client DIT and was contracted to complete earthworks, roadworks, underground services, kerbing, footpaths, traffic islands and street lighting. CATCON were also undertook stakeholder management, traffic and pedestrian management.
Golden Grove Road is a major arterial road linking the North-Eastern suburbs to the metropolitan road network, night shifts were required to ensure at least one lane of traffic in all directions always remained open to allow local and commercial traffic to continue to flow.
