CATCON played an important role during the re-development of the Adelaide Airport. CATCON’s involvement included the construction of aircraft pavements, taxiways, car parks and associated road works.

During construction CATCON were required to adhere to strict airport regulations, as well as working around aircraft in a live environment. Due to the busy nature of the airport during daylight hours, CATCON implemented a night shift to enable crews to work on areas of the airport which were in use by aircraft during the day.
