The refurbishment of the Coffin Bay Jetty, located on the Eyre Peninsula – South Australia, was an important marine based construction project in CATCON’s portfolio. The project included the extension and refurbishment of an existing, fully operational timber jetty, including; piling, installation of crossheads, girders, planking and docking. CATCON used a barge to operate machinery and to provide access to the underside of the jetty. The piles were installed from the barge using a vibrating hammer attachment.
