CATCON were contracted to complete civil works associated with the 500MW combined cycle power  located at Pelican Point, Outer Harbour, South Australia. CACTON provided 6,000m3 of structural concrete elements, including; steam turbine foundation, gas turbine foundations, transformer blast walls and associated structures.

The 8 month project involved adhering to a very tight programme and interfacing with other contractors. CATCON utilised a variety of heavy construction machinery throughout the project, including; Excavators, Cranes, Loaders, Graders and Rollers.
